A great Website giving inside view of M D Ramanathan really a unique musician who sang only for the sake of music.He was called Musician,s Musician.It was great challenge to the accompanists to perform in MDR concerts.But leading Violinists of the era like TN Krishnan,M S Gopalakrishnan,Lalgudi Jayaraman,VV Subramaniam,M Chandrasekharan played along side and enhanced his music to a great level.Mridangam legends Palghat Mani Iyer,Umayalapuram Sivaraman,Vellore Ramabhadran etc enjoyed playng for MDR.
